Accessing events in your Event indexes
What is an Events index?
Your Events index is a collection of all the events you have access to within the application. Your main (Global) Events index can be accessed at any point from your User Menu (View Events), your Recent Events switcher (All Events) and also by viewing 'all' events from your Home page. Arriving on your Global Events index should look like the shown example below.
You can also access a filtered version of your Global Events index by selecting a property from your Global Properties page - doing this will only display events within that specific property
How do I access events for just a specific property?
You can access a filtered version of your Global Events index by selecting a property from your Global Properties page - doing this will only display events within that specific property. Alternatively, you can enter your Global Events page and enter the name of a property into the Search option. This will filter your index to display only events that are currently active at that property.
How do I interact with an event I have been granted access to?
To access an event, simply find the specific event listing representing the event you wish to interact on your Events index and click on it. You will then be taken to the Event Dashboard for the specific event, where you can begin interacting with content and other event users within the event.
What do the red bubbles displayed on my events represent?
The ‘red bubbles' indicate any pending activity that has occurred in each of your events. A blank red bubble indicates that you have notifications relating to documents or discussions you are not currently subscribed to within the event, but have been granted permissions allowing you to access them.
A red bubble containing a number indicates that there are pending notifications for documents or discussions that you are currently subscribed to. The number inside the bubble shows the total number of unread notifications that relate to your 'subscriptions' that are unread.
Why can't I find the event I wish to interact with?
First of all, please ensure you have accessed the correct property containing the event you are looking for. If you have access to more than one property, use the View Properties option (found on the User Menu) to return to your Properties page to check this.
There is also the possibility that the Administrator who has created the event has not set the correct permissions for you to access the event you are looking for.
Alternatively, the event may have been 'archived' by the Administrator, which means that they have removed the event from the hotel/venue. If you have access to more than one event at a property, you can use the ‘ Search' option to search for specific event(s).
