Interacting with your account options

What can I do in my account?

Non-SSO Users:

Upon entering your Home page, you will be able to access your account options. From here you can change your password, set your online status to Out of Office (to let your fellow planners know when you are going to be away from work) and manage Comment Templates (use of this feature is detailed in the section ‘How to use Comment Templates’). 

By selecting the Edit Your Account option, you can access and manage your personal account details (such as your Name, Title, Organisation, Bio, Telephone Numbers, Timezone and also upload an avatar image for your account - if you choose not to upload an image, the application will select a default avatar for you).

SSO Users:

As with non-SSO users, upon entering your Home page, you will be able to access your account options. From here you set your online status to Out of Office (to let your fellow planners know when you are going to be away from work) and manage Comment Templates (use of this feature is detailed in the section ‘How to use Comment Templates’). 

By selecting the Edit Your Account option, you can access and manage your personal Bio, Telephone Numbers, Timezone and also upload an avatar image for your account - if you choose not to upload an image, the application will select a default avatar for you.

Users with a 'Cendyn Hospitality Cloud' account cannot change their password within the application - this must be done within the 'Cendyn Hospitality Cloud'. In addition to this, any changes to your name or title must also be made within the 'Cendyn Hospitality Cloud'. To access your profile in the 'Cendyn Hospitality Cloud', please use the following steps:

1) Open your User Menu by clicking on your user avatar at the top of the page - click the option 'Cendyn Hospitality Cloud' to continue.

2) Once in the Sales Suite, click on your email address displayed at the top right of the page and select 'My Profile' from the options on the dropdown menu.

3) Make your amendments using the fields provided on the following page - please note that you cannot change your email address in this section, please contact support if you require a change to this data. Once you are happy to continue, click 'Save' and then you can head back to the application by selecting the appropriate tile from the options displayed on your dashboard.


Do I need to login again if I change my password from my Home page?

Not at all! Simply select Change Password when you are on your Home page and enter your new password. Your password will become active, but you will still remain logged in until you choose to logout of the application. You will also receive an email notification, informing you that the your password has been updated successfully. 

If you have a 'Saved Password' feature enabled in your browser, you may need to update this the next time you to start a new session in the application.


Do I need to create a new login again if I change my 'Cendyn Hospitality Cloud' password?

No - when you change your password in the Hospitality Cloud, it will not affect your ability to access the application. However, if you have a 'Saved Password' feature enabled in your browser, please ensure it is up to date when you start a new session in the Hospitality Cloud.


How do I exit an account option?

To leave an account option and return to your Home page, select either the 'Cancel' option at the bottom of the page or click on the 'Home' tab displayed at the top of the page. Either of these options will return you to your Home page.
