Managing users area and event access

NOTE: ONLY ADMIN USERS CAN MANAGE EVENT AND AREA ACCESS

Accessing users event and area access management

By selecting to edit a user you can access the event and area access management for the individual. This can be from within an event or from the Users area in your property Admin page - by clicking on the cogwheel option on any user index or 'Edit User' when viewing a user in an event you will see the following page.

From here, simply click on either of the options highlighted in the image above and you will be taken to the the relative access management area.

If you select to view a user from within the property Admin area you will see the following page.

Again, selecting either of the highlighted option will take you to the respective access management area for the user.


How do I manage or assign event access for a user?

Once you have selected to enter the event access management area, you will see the following page.

The events available for you to assign are displayed in the main area of the page. To choose events to be assigned or unassigned for the user, simply click on the 'tick' icon displayed to the right of the event listing. Events can be sorted by Title, Running Dates or Currently Selected, and can also be filtered by state (Live/Completed/Upcoming). We've also included a handy Search feature that allows you to search available events by Title.

Scrolling the page up or down allows you to view event listings in groups of 10, with the option to 'Load More...'. If you wish to view more than 10 event listings at a time, select the first filter at the top of the index and choose between 10, 20, 30 or All events to be displayed.

You can also 'Select All' events available by clicking on the option at the top right of the index. Depending on how many event are currently being displayed and how many events are available, you may see the following banner.

This allows you to select all available events including events currently not displayed on the index - this eliminates the need for you to filter the index further, making it quicker to make swift assignments.

To complete the event access assignment, click on the 'Add' button displayed at the bottom of the page. The user will now have the new event accesses applied and will receive an email informing them of their new permissions.


How do I manage or assign event access for a user?

The areas available to be assigned are displayed in the main area of the page. To choose areas to be assigned or unassigned for the user, simply click on the 'tick' icon displayed to the right of the area listing. Areas can be sorted by Title or Currently Selected, and can also be searched for using the Search feature provided.

You can also 'Select All' areas available by clicking on the option at the top right of the index - this eliminates the need for you to filter the index further, making it quicker to make swift assignments.

To complete the area access assignment, click on the 'Add' button displayed at the bottom of the page. The user will now have the new area accesses applied and will be able to interact with the assigned areas immediately.
